🤝 PyCon China 2026 Open Source Bazaar is now officially recruiting
PyCon China 2025 conference will set up community booths on site, bringing together 17 technical communities/organizations to exhibit and interact with attendees.
PyCon China 2026 Open Source Bazaar is now officially recruiting! The Open Source Bazaar is a core offline interactive section of this conference. It offers free exhibition booths to open source project teams and open source technology communities. Through offline booth demonstrations, one-on-one technical exchanges, and open source resource matchmaking, it helps Python technology implementation and builds a display platform for technical teams and open source projects to directly reach core developers.
This year's conference will set up open-source bazaars at both the Shanghai and Shenzhen stations, covering popular directions such as AI large models, embodied intelligence, physical AI, data science, cloud-native, Web frameworks, automation toolchains, etc. On-site exhibitors can gain:
- In-depth technical engagement: Meet front-line developers, algorithm engineers and technical leads face to face, and go deep on pain points around Python engineering practice, model training, real-world deployment and framework adaptation — connecting precisely with potential partners and project users.
- Hands-on open source experience: Deploy demos on site and walk through technical solutions, so attendees can try out tools, models and open source frameworks themselves. Show off your project's strengths and real-world use cases directly, and grow its community reach fast.
- Efficient distribution of technical resources: Hand out technical white papers, learning paths, open source collaboration docs and dedicated developer resource packs on site, while collecting community feedback to build long-term support for project iteration and open source co-development.
On top of that, the bazaar runs a venue-wide stamp-rally game: attendees who complete check-in tasks across multiple booths can redeem rewards jointly offered by PyChina and the exhibitors — technical books, developer tool licenses, custom merchandise, limited-edition open source gifts and more!

Tips for exhibitors
Exhibiting at this year's Shanghai and Shenzhen open source bazaars is free of charge. The conference provides standard booths, tables and chairs, and basic power supply, along with high-quality offline exchange with the community (places are limited). Teams registering to exhibit need to complete three basic preparations:
- Before the event, work with the PyCon organizers to share conference and bazaar publicity material and widen the event's reach;
- On the day, station staff at your booth to greet visitors and give technical explanations;
- Booths must include a hands-on interactive element. Small giveaways such as stickers, creative merchandise and technical handbooks are encouraged to draw developers in for conversation and fully showcase your open source projects and technical products.
Note: The conference will provide 2 community support tickets per booth, distributed together before the event.
